Harrison native and Michigan State University alum Matt House was hired as the new defensive coordinator for LSU football on Tuesday.
The former Kansas City Chiefs assistant and linebackers coach will join former Central Michigan coach Brian Kelly at LSU following the NFL season.
Before joining the Chiefs in 2019, House served as Kentucky’s defensive coordinator. He also has prior college experience as an assistant from Flordia International in 2015 and Pitt from 2013-2014.
House first began his coaching career at his alma mater Michigan State in 2001.
