TRAVERSE CITY — With a loss on Friday against the Battle Creek Bombers, the Traverse City Pit Spitters officially finished in second place overall of the Great Lakes East division of the Northwoods League and Kokomo will have home field advantage for the first round series of the playoffs.
The Pit Spitters will host game one of the series on Sunday in Traverse City, with first pitch at 5:05 p.m. at Turtle Creek Stadium. The final two games of the series will be on Monday and Tuesday at Kokomo.
