Smithson Builds Lead Entering Third Round of Michigan Open

TRAVERSE CITY — Grand Rapids amateur golfer Bradley Smithson added onto his lead during the second round of the Michigan Open, entering Wednesday with a five-stroke advantage.

Smithson recorded a six-under on Monday and then followed that up with a five-under Tuesday to improve to 11-under overall. The next closest golfers on the leaderboard are Patrick Wilkes-Krier and Tyler Copp, sitting at six-under overall.

All three of those golfers are scheduled to tee off at 11:50 a.m. A trio of golfers at 3-under will tee off shortly before them. Viewers can watch the leaders during the final two rounds, as it will be live streamed on VUit and .
