Cadillac’s McKeever Signs with LSSU

Ahead of Cadillac’s varsity hockey game against Mattawan on Friday, senior left wing Molly McKeever signed on with Lake Superior State’s women’s ACHA club hockey program.

The only female on Cadillac’s hockey team this winter, McKeever says playing with and against boys over her career has helped her develop her skills and that LSSU was the perfect fit for her.

“The aggression definitely, that really helped,” she said. “Being more physical with the guys was definitely the better choice. I had a few colleges to choose between and it took me quite a while to figure out what school I wanted and what school was going to give me the most scholarship money, but Lake State was definitely the best option for me.”

McKeever plans to major in pre-med.
