Following a confirmed positive case of COVID-19 within Brimley Area Schools, Friday’s Brimley-Pickford varsity football game has been canceled.
Pickford will receive a forfeit win and will end the regular season with a 5-1 record while Brimley drops to 2-4.
This marks the second straight week that Pickford has had a game canceled. Pickford’s game against Rapid River last Friday was canceled after confirmed positive COVID-19 cases at Pickford Public Schools.
Brimley and Pickford will learn their playoff destinations Sunday.
