Sault Ste. Marie’s Scott Heads to Wisconsin-Eau Claire

Sault Ste. Marie senior Jordan Scott recently announced her commitment to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and its women’s track and field program.

Scott excelled in her time with the Blue Devils, earning Team MVP honors each of the previous three seasons.

She’ll be competing in the 100 and 200 sprints in college, and she’s eager to get back to running competitively again and join the NCAA Division III program.

“I wish I had another year, obviously to run to prepare for next year, because now I haven’t ran in a whole year,” Scott said. “Then I’ll be going and I won’t start until November. It’s tough having a year off obviously, but I think it’ll be fine because everybody’s had a year off.”

Scott is undecided on a major but plans on going the business route.
