TRAVERSE CITY – Baseball was back at Turtle Creek Stadium on Sunday after their brief hiatus due to COVID-19.
The Pit Spitters and the Great Lakes Resorters faced off.
Traverse City took an early lead in the first inning, going up 2-0. They added onto this lead in the fourth with an inside-the-park home run by Antonio Flores.
The Pit Spitters had 16 strikeouts total and only allowed one hit on the night.
They defeated the Resorters 6-0.
Monday the two face off again at 7:05 pm.
