HOLLAND — Traverse City St. Francis alum Amanda Bandrowski earned the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Central Region Senior Women’s Tennis Player of the Year. She will be considered for the national award on Wednesday, May 27, at 11 a.m.
This is the second honor she has received from the ITA in May, as she was an All-American as well.
Bandrowski has had an impressive career at Hope College. The senior has the second-most wins by a singles player in the program’s history, sitting at 85-14. She also has the two winningest singles seasons in program history, going 30-2 in 2019 and 27-1 in 2017. She was 10-2 this season before coronavirus shortened their season.
She is also 67-31 as a doubles player, which is ninth all-time. She was 8-4 this year before the season came to an end.
