Manistee CC Hands Walkerville 1st Loss, Forces Tie Atop Conference

MANISTEE – The Manistee Catholic Central girls basketball team handed Walkerville its first loss of the season with a 46-40 win in West Michigan D League play on Wednesday.

With the game tied at 21-21 at the half, the Sabers (6-3, 6-1) took a 37-31 lead to the fourth quarter.

Catholic Central travels to Mason County Eastern on Friday while Walkerville (9-1, 6-1) welcomes in Brethren.
