TRAVERSE CITY – The Traverse City West hockey team snapped a two-game skid with a 9-2 win over Toledo St. John’s in the seventh-place game of the Scott Miller Memorial Tournament on Friday.
The Titans (5-4-1) took a 2-1 lead after the opening period and extended their lead to 7-2 by the second intermission.
West returns to Big North Conference play Wednesday at Cadillac.
