Following its 3-0 shutout win over previously unbeaten Big Rapids on Friday, Sault Ste. Marie has moved up to third in the latest Michigan High School Hockey Coaches Association Division 3.
The Blue Devils also appear in the state’s Super 10 rankings for the first time this season, checking in at eighth.
Big Rapids falls from fifth to eighth in Division 3 after losing to Sault Ste. Marie and Rockford over the weekend.
