SAULT STE. MARIE – The Sault Ste. Marie football program fell to 1-1 on the year with a 33-20 loss to Alpena in non-league action on Friday.
With the game tied 13-13 at the half, Alpena pulled ahead by taking a 26-13 lead after three quarters.
Sault Ste. Marie travels to Marquette next Friday.
