Clare Falls Late to Ithaca

CLARE – Despite holding a 20-17 halftime lead, Clare fell to defending Division 6 state champion Ithaca, 31-28, on Friday.

The Pioneers (0-1) took a 14-7 lead after the opening quarter and led 20-10 with under five minutes to play in the first half.

Clare returns to action at Beal City next Friday.
