MAPLE CITY – The ninth-ranked Frankfort softball team won its second consecutive Division 4 district championship via a 19-3 victory over St. Mary Lake Leelanau on Saturday.
The Panthers opened the day by handing Suttons Bay a 24-1 defeat in three innings, while the Eagles edged host Glen Lake, 7-6.
