TC West Hosts Spring Signing Day

TRAVERSE CITY – More than a dozen Traverse City West senior student-athletes announced their college intentions on Wednesday in a ceremony held at the school.

Thirteen Titans will be continuing their careers at the NCAA Division III or NAIA levels, with more than half of those athletes taking their talents to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association institutions.

"I’ve grown up with these guys for a long time, playing with them since elementary, so it’s definitely an honor to sign with them and see where it takes us,” said Austin Cochrane, who will play football at Olivet College.

After helping lead the West volleyball program to a 2015 Class A quarterfinal appearance, Lexi Moyer is excited to have her athletic endeavors continue on at Alma College in the fall.

"It’s pretty incredible having all of these people here, all the people who got me here and it’s a privilege to be able to sign in front of them,” she said.
