LELAND – Behind four goals from senior midfielder Libby Munoz, the 11th-ranked Leland girls soccer team snapped a two-game skid with an 8-1 win over visiting Northport on Monday.
Munoz tallied six points on four goals and two assists, while Mattie Burda recorded a hat trick.
Mollie Grishaw also scored for Leland (5-3), which improved to 3-1 in Greater Northwest Soccer Conference play.
Kira Metcalf registered seven saves in goal.
