SUTTONS BAY – Holding a 3-0 lead at the half, the Suttons Bay girls soccer team cruised to a 5-1 win over visiting Benzie Central on Monday.
Sydney Deadman scored twice in the first half for Suttons Bay and ended the game with a hat trick, while Samara Slocombe and Danielle Merwin both chipped in with a goal apiece.
Haley Papineau scored for Benzie Central.
The win is the third straight for the Norsemen (4-4-1), who improved to 3-1 in Greater Northwest Soccer Conference play.
