Universal Truckload: Q2 Earnings Snapshot

WARREN, Mich. (AP) _ Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. (ULH) on Thursday reported second-quarter profit of $25.6 million.

On a per-share basis, the Warren, Michigan-based company said it had profit of 95 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 78 cents per share.

The trucking and logistics company posted revenue of $422.8 million in the period.

Universal Truckload shares have risen 11% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $22.89, an increase of 26% in the last 12 months.
