TriMas: Q2 Earnings Snapshot

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. (AP) _ TriMas Corp. (TRS) on Thursday reported second-quarter net income of $11.8 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Bloomfield Hills, Michigan-based company said it had net income of 27 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 62 cents per share.

The maker of packaging materials, aerospace components and other engineered parts posted revenue of $219 million in the period.

TriMas expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.15 to $2.30 per share, with revenue in the range of $840 million to $875 million.

TriMas shares have risen almost 5% since the beginning of the year.
