TriMas: 2Q Earnings Snapshot

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. (AP) _ TriMas Corp. (TRS) on Thursday reported a second-quarter loss of $15.7 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Bloomfield Hills, Michigan-based company said it had a loss of 36 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 43 cents per share.

The maker of packaging materials, aerospace components and other engineered parts posted revenue of $199.6 million in the period.

TriMas shares have dropped 21% since the beginning of the year.
