Multistate police chase leads to 2 crashes; 4 injured

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A city bus full of passengers was hit as a multistate police chase crossed into Pennsylvania, injuring three officers and a bus passenger.

Philadelphia police tweeted a photo of 20-year-old Dejuan Robinson, who fled the crash scene. They described him as a person of interest in multiple homicides in Delaware and believe he is armed and dangerous.

He fled a traffic stop in Delaware, leading to a chase into Philadelphia that caused to two separate crashes.

A police spokesman says some responding officers crashed on Interstate 95 near the Philadelphia airport, and the suspect crashed into the bus after exiting the highway onto city streets.

Several schools were on lockdown.

Pennsylvania State Police spokesman Ryan Tarkowski says one trooper was hurt in the crash.

Wilmington Police say two officers are being treated at a hospital.
