Michigan family still hoping for answers to 2015 cold case

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — A family is still looking for answers more than four years after a man was shot to death on a parking ramp.

The Lansing State Journal reports that Michael Smith was fatally shot Feb. 5, 2015, in East Lansing.

East Lansing police are still trying to identify two men spotted on a store surveillance video who could be connected to shooting. The two black men were seen driving a red sedan near the parking ramp where the shooting occurred.

East Lansing detective Sgt. James Phelps says there have been no new leads in the case.

Andrea Smith, Michael Smith’s sister, is asking for anyone with information to contact police. She says the family has been waiting for years without answers or closure.
