Thursday, Sep. 17 Court hearing for former youth facility worker on charges related to death of child who threw sandwich – Court hearing for former Lakeside Academy Nursing Director Heather McLogan, charged alongside two others, Michael Mosley and Zachary Solis, on involuntary manslaughter charges and second-degree child abuse charges in the death of Cornelius Fredericks * Fredericks, a Black 16-year-old child in the custody of Lakeside Academy, died of a cardiac arrest two days after being restrained for 12 minutes by seven staff members at the youth facility. Fredericks allegedly threw a sandwich before being pushed out of a chair by Mosley and then restrained by McLogan and Solis.
