SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) — A Michigan man has died as violence flared again in the Indiana city where Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg is mayor. The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit says Brandon Williams of Niles, Michigan, died after a shooting at Kelly-s pub in South Bend. Ten other people were wounded by gunshots in South Bend early Sunday. County police assisted in controlling a crowd of more than 100 angry citizens who gathered at a hospital after the pub shooting.

WYOMING, Mich. (AP) — Additional portions of a school in western Michigan have collapsed about two weeks after a roof collapsed into a classroom. The collapses occurred at Lee Middle and High School in Wyoming, which is located in the Grand Rapids area and is part of the Godfrey-Lee district. No one was injured. The first collapse happened June 6, less than a week after students were dismissed for summer, and no one was at the school. The second collapse was reported Sunday.

DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) — AAA Michigan says average gas prices statewide have risen about 7 cents from a week ago at about $2.70 per gallon. The Dearborn-based auto club says Monday the average price for self-serve regular unleaded is about 20 cents less than a year ago. AAA says the state’s highest average was in Marquette at around $2.76. The lowest price was in the Jackson area at roughly $2.60 per gallon.

DETROIT (AP) — Big crowds are expected in downtown Detroit and along the Detroit River for the annual Ford Fireworks show. The show takes place over the river Monday night. It will feature more than 10,000 pyrotechnic effects that are visible for miles in Detroit as well as Windsor, Ontario. This year’s show is themed “Detroit. Ready! Set! Go!!” Officials and spectators were keeping an eye on the weather, with rain and some thunderstorms in the forecast for parts of the day on Monday.
