_ WOMAN SLAIN-GRANDSON: A 23-year-old man is arrested in Ohio after the body of his 68-year-old grandmother is found in a recycling bin at her Detroit-area home.

_ GROUP HOME-DEATH: Authorities say a 73-year-old man who was diagnosed with dementia has died after apparently wandering away from a group home in suburban Detroit.

_ FORMER PRISON-REDEVELOPMENT: Plans are moving forward to transform the site of a former prison in Michigan’s northwestern Lower Peninsula into a company’s manufacturing and assembly facility.
