Crews are cleaning up a oil spill in Oscoda County after a tanker truck lost control while turning a corner, flipped over and spilled its load of crude oil. Manna Food Project Works With Schools To Feed Students

Manna Food Project, a food bank in Emmet County, is working with area schools to feed students on the weekends. Around 350 kids from five schools are participating in the “Food 4 Kids Backpack Program.” Alanson Elementary School is one school benefiting and the secretary there says 40 students are currently getting the backpacks. D.N.R.E. battling Beech Bark Disease

A combination of tiny insects and fungus are threatening Beech trees in the State of Michigan. It's called Beech Bark Disease, and it's been found in many Michigan counties, including Crawford.
