The cold all across Michigan hasn’t stopped people from enjoying the outdoors.
From hitting the slopes to snowmobilers riding the trails, people across Northern Michigan are bundling up to enjoy the great outdoors Friday.
Despite the frigid temps, Bob Caudill was in Gaylord Friday with his wife to check out the Michigan Snowmobile Festival. He says on top of wearing three layers he’s able to survive the cold with a heated visor in his helmet and heated handles on his sled. He says even though the wind chill is negative it was still a great day for riding.
“We just love the beauty of the outdoors. Me personally, I like the cold temperatures. It feels nice being out here with the beautiful scenery. We love it up here in Gaylord,” Caudill says.
