Eric and Amy Kolden, a husband and wife duo, run White on Rice, a restaurant that started serving sushi out of a food truck before they moved to a store front.
And now, the lease for their 14th Street location in Traverse City is ending soon and they’re hoping to find a new place that they can re-open at that will offer more seating options for their customers.
Eric and Amy say they “just want to thank everyone. Our customers, the city of Traverse City, fellow restaurant owners, businesses. It’s been great.”
Along with closing their store front, they are also selling the food truck that started it all. It will be staying local since they are selling it to a local caterer.
White on Rice plans for their last day to be Feb. 26.
