Pine River Paddlesports Center - Winter Rafting ToursThis winter, you can head out to Wellston for a guided winter rafting tour with the folks from Pine River Paddlesports Center. This is a unique, safe, and beautiful way to enjoy the Pine River and the winter season! After your hour and 15 minute long float, you can opt to take a two mile hike along the gorgeous river-side Silver Creek Pathway. These tours are offered all winter long, so plan a trip with your family & friends to enjoy an adventure in the great outdoors!

Timber Ridge RV & Recreation Resort - Bigfoot 5K & 10K Snowshoe Race and Fun RunTimber Ridge RV & Recreation Resort is hosting a race on Saturday, January 28th, in Traverse City - The Bigfoot 5K & 10K Snowshoe Race and Fun Run. This is an off-trail run/walk with plenty of logs to jump over and branches to duck! Participants can choose to do the fun run, 5K, or 10K race. Gather pre-race in the cozy Timber Ridge Nordic Center around a roaring fire, and stick around post race to warm up with a bowl of chili. Treetops Resort’s Skiable FeastTreetops Resort in Gaylord invites you to a day of cross country skiing through beautiful trails in northern Michigan, while enjoying gourmet food and beverage stations along the way. This “Skiable Feast” takes place on Saturday January 28th, and will take you on a nearly 4 mile cross country ski excursion. You can embark out at your own pace, and you’ll want to check out the five food and beverage stations along the route. It’s a gourmet adventure for all levels of cross country skiers and snowshoeing ability, so beginners are welcome! Treetops will also be holding Skiable Feasts in February and March.
