Learn more: Wanting to share this incredible fiber with others, The Crystal Lake Alpaca Boutique was officially established on the Nelson Family Farm in the Spring of 2012. The boutique lies within a refurbished barn, and features Northern Michigan rustic appeal using wood harvested from our property. Today, they have expanded the boutique to a second building on the farm and grown our herd to more than 50 alpacas. The boutique carries a variety of alpaca products including hats, mittens, scarves, neck warmers, the famous alpaca socks, sweaters, stuffed animals and much more! Their products are wonderful gifts for your friends, loved ones or even to spoil yourself! In 2021 they expanded to a second retail location located at the Village of the Grand Traverse Commons. This second retail location is open year round and carries many of their customers favorite products.
