This belief serves as the foundation for the recording of The Journey, the debut project from recording artist and musician Jelando Johnson. A graduate of Texas Southern University, he spent years as a member of the award- winning TSU Jazz Ensemble.
Those skills have led to Jelando laying down grooves with legendary and great artists such as George Duke, Marion Meadows, Kim Waters, Bobby Lyle, Steve Cole, Melba Moore, Hubert Laws, Peter White, Kirk Whalum, Bob James, Jonathan Butler, Najee, Bob Baldwin, and Patrice Rushen.
