Hunters won prizes for heaviest, most points, widest rack, first buck on the pole and oldest and youngest hunter.

Benjamin Young from Harrietta hung his buck up Wednesday morning.

The 13 point buck weighed in at 172 pounds with an 18.5-inch spread.

“I’ve been seeing him on my trail cam since bow season started, but I saw him in person opening morning at 7:45, and he went straight down,” explained Benjamin Young. “I get a deer every year, but I was really happy to get one this size.”

Every hunter who entered their deer had a chance to win a four-wheeler.
