Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Police Investigating Deaths on Tribal Land

The Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Police are investigating a deadly domestic disturbance on tribal land.

Police say early Sunday morning, they were called to a report of a domestic dispute with shots fired in Chippewa Township within the Isabella Reservation boundaries.

When they arrived, they said they found the suspect deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Police say there were three other victims, one of whom died from their injuries.

The two others are still recovering from their injuries.

Tribal Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
