Curry House Assisted Living Holds Door Decorating Contest with the Public

Curry House Assisted Living in Wexford County is getting in the Halloween spirit with a door decorating contest.

The contest had their residence doors “adopted” by the public. Now family members, staff or community members can decorate the door in a fun holiday contest.

This allows the residents to reconnect with the community.

Plenty of families and businesses have already stepped up to be part of this event.

“They missed the holiday. They missed their families. They missed seeing little children. So by adopting or coming in or coming to visit, you’re bringing joy to our seniors,” Michelle Reichert, Curry House Residential Experience Director, said.

Anyone can go in and vote on their favorite door from Oct. 24-28.
