Free Screenings For Breast Cancer Awareness Month

When it comes to breast cancer prevention, avoidance is not the answer.

Mammograms can sometimes locate breast cancer up to ten year before it can be detected through self-exams according to the Susan G. Komen Organization.

The Health Department of Northwest Michigan’s Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Navigation Program can women get a free exam, even if they don’t have insurance.
