A Petoskey man is facing multiple criminal sexual conduct charges after allegedly sexually assaulting two girls under the age of 13, the Emmet County Sheriff’s Office.
Brian James Jones, 23, was arraigned Wednesday in an Emmet County court on four counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct (person under 13) and two counts of second degree criminal sexual conducts (person under 13).
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded on Sept. 18 to a complaint of two underage females who were possibly the victims of numerous cases of criminal sexual conduct at a Little Township residence. The sheriff’s office says the alleged sexual assaults took place between Aug. 1, 2022 and Sept. 18, 2022.
Jones was arrested on Monday and remains lodged in the Emmet County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
