The Red Dresser Helping Women Start Their Business

If we’re talking about antiques and thrifting, then it’s only right that we stop by the spot everyone knows and loves in Traverse City, the Red Dresser.

Tammy Simerson, the owner, started this business herself in order to give homemakers in the area a more affordable place to shop.

We get to hear the story on how this business got off the ground.

Fifteen years later, she’s proud of the progress she’s made and the junk she has been able to find.

Now, she helps to give other women the space to start their own businesses.
