Judy Boyer Pleads Guilty to Murder in Clare County Quadruple Homicide

A Farwell woman accused of shooting and killing four people last October pleaded guilty to first and second degree murder Wednesday, according to a Facebook post made on the Clare County Prosecutor Office Facebook page by Michelle Ambrozaitis.

The post states that Judy Boyer pleaded guilty for first degree premeditated murder and second degree murder after she killed her father Henry Boyer, his sister Patricia Boyer, Wade Bacon and Zachary Salminen.

Last October, Clare County deputies responded to a house on South Harrison Avenue in Grant Township. That’s where they found Salminen and Bacon shot in the head.

Boyer’s father and sister were found dead in an out building.

According to the Facebook post, first degree murder carries a life sentence without the possibility of parole. A sentencing hearing will be scheduled by the court sometime in November.
