Reed City Community Market On Pause, Looking for Suggestions
A summer tradition in Reed City is on pause until next year.
Every Sunday, the Chamber says there’s about 10 vendors that come out to sell their goods.
However, they’ve gotten less customers than in years past.
The Chamber says they think it’s because of the day the market is on and the variety of products offered.
“We have a great group of people that is dedicated in seeing this to be a successful event for the community,” said Chamber Coordinator Alanna McBee. “We decided to just pause for the rest of the season, revisit all of the issues. We have a survey going out to our vendors, and we have a survey that’s going to go out to the public, to get more constructive feedback and should try to see what works for everyone.”
McBee said that survey will go out sometime on or after August 12.
