A Custer woman was saved by a deputy and his K9 after falling into a 75 foot deep ravine.
After not hearing from her for a couple days, the woman’s friend found her car in the driveway with the door left open and called police.
Mason County Deputy Baum and his K9 partner Diego responded. Diego picked up the scent and led Baum to the ravine.
The Sheriff’s Office says the woman had been in the ravine for up to 24 hours after falling in.
She was taken to the hospital, and deputies believe she will survive her injuries.
