National Be Someone Day with Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center

National Be Someone Day, a holiday that encourages adults to inspire young kids, is July 21.

This is also a day many organizations use to talk about child abuse prevention.

Every child needs someone in their life they can turn to. In moments of extreme vulnerability, it’s important to make sure that children have the resources they needs to properly cope.

This day is just a reminder of the simple ways we can all learn to advocate for the children around us.

We’re talking with experts about child abuse prevention, how you can talk to your kids about this, and how you can actively be an advocate.

Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center is an organization that’s compiled resources for days like this. Their resources help you better be an advocate.
