Suspects Identified in MSP Recruiting Tent Theft
Michigan State Police say they have identified the two women they say stole a recruiting tent set up at the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City on July 4.
Troopers say they received numerous tips and were able to identify the women as a result. The women were captured on surveillance video walking away with the tent around 12:27 a.m. Monday on Union Street.
Without the tent, state police recruiting officers have been walking throughout the National Cherry Festival, speaking with people who might be interested in a career in law enforcement.
