Partial Body Contact Advisory Issued for Littlefield Park

A partial body contact advisory has been issued for Littlefield Park in Oden.

Water samples collected Wednesday came back high at 648 E. coli per 100ml (about 3.38 oz). Partial body contact advisories are issued when E. coli are between 301 E. coli/100ml to 1000 E. coli/100ml. Contact above the waist is not advised.

“Follow-up samples were conducted this morning and results will be available tomorrow morning,” said Jeremy Fruk, Health Department of Northwest Michigan Director of Environmental Health, in a release.
