Hook & Hunting: Pilgrim’s Village Hosting 11th Annual Free Fishing Contest

Pilgrim’s Village Fishing Shop in Cadillac is hosting their 11th Annual Free Summer Fishing Contest.

There’s no entry fee – all you have to do is fish anywhere in Michigan, and bring it to their shop still alive to be measured and weighed.

Whoever has the biggest species of fish will win a $50 gift certificate.

“It’s fun, right. Why not?” said Pilgrim Village Resort and Fishing Shop Owner Christopher Knaisel. “It doesn’t cost anything, it’s fun to do. You can kind of show off. So it’s a good time!”
