MTM On The Road: Celebrating The Fourth of July at The National Cherry Festival

Happy Fourth of July Northern Michigan!

What is more American than fireworks and cherry pie?

For many, there’s no better place to celebrate than at the National Cherry Festival.

Cherry Pie Eating Contests and Orchard Tours in “Cherry Country” kick off today. Fourth of July Fireworks begin at dusk.

Our On The Road Crew, Lauren and Stephanie, are at the Open Space Park all morning, talking to the Traverse City Boom Boom Club and National Cherry Festival vendors about the hard work that goes into making the big day happen.

To keep the fireworks show going next summer, feel free to donate to the Traverse City Boom Boom Club here.
