Students are kicking off their summer vacations and breaks from school, but it doesn’t mean there needs to be a complete pause in learning.
We talked with Dr. Nika Fabienke, Curriculum Development Lead at and about ways to keep kids engaged.
Below are her tips to encourage learning in a fun & healthy way:
- Encourage your kids to chase what they are interested in
- Praise productive struggle during both learning and play
- Engage them in everyday problem solving during routine tasks or chores
- Be a parent, not a teacher, over the summer break
