Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Ryan Kelley Arrested by FBI, Facing Charges Related to Jan. 6 Riot

Michigan Republican gubernatorial candidate Ryan Kelley was arrested by the FBI Thursday following a raid on his home in Allendale Township.

Kelley, a real estate broker and one of five Republican gubernatorial candidates, was seen at the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6, 2021, riot.

Kelley is  related to the Jan. 6 riot. He was charged with knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds, knowingly engage in any act of physical violence against person or property in any restricted building or grounds, and willfully injure or commit any depredation against any property of the United States.
