Keep Charlevoix Beautiful Lines the Downtown Streets with Baskets of Petunias

Petunias are back for the season along the streets of Charlevoix.

The Keep Charlevoix Beautiful group, which is a father-son team along with a collection of volunteers, cover Bridge Street in downtown Charlevoix with massive flower pots of beautiful petunias. This has been a family tradition since 1982, when it started with the presidents father.

Keep Charlevoix Beautiful started loading a semi full of flowers since Thursday morning and has been working hard the past two days to hang a little bit of seasonal beauty into Charlevoix.

“Everybody’s so pumped up and like alright, summers here!” Bo Boss, President of Keep Charlevoix Beautiful said. “So it’s pretty cool, everybody loves it, puts smiles on everybody’s faces and that’s what we’re all about.”
