The City of Barryton is hosting their annual Lilac Festival June 3-5.
The festival returns every first weekend in June.
Some events throughout the weekend include a carnival, craft and vendor show, with 112 vendors, a parade, car show, several contests, and .
This year, they’re introducing a new Glow Car Show at night with cars decked out in lights.
Barryton Lilac Festival Chair Renee Earle said there’s plenty of fun for everyone.
“Alot of times we have people looking and shopping through the vendors, and the chicken BBQ is a pretty popular thing,” Earle said. “The parade’s a pretty big thing. Last year we had over 60 cars for the car show, and we anticipate that one being bigger.”
The event runs through June 5.
