The Bayshore Marathon returns to Traverse City in just two days.
This will be the first time the race has been held since 2019, due to the pandemic. Runners will start at Northwestern Michigan College and wind through several neighborhoods.
Traverse City Police say they’re prepared for a jam-packed day of big crowds and busy roads.
“It goes up the Old Mission Peninsula, along the East Shore, all the way up to Bluff Road, past Devil’s Dive Road, along that route will be partial closures, but Center Road will be closed between McKinley and Bluff Road,” said Capt. Jim Bussell, with TCPD.
Police, EMS and fire units will be on-site all day.
